INDIA INTERNATIONAL
FURNITURE FAIR 2003 (IIFF-2003) was the second edition of
the International Fair in India, dedicated solely to the furniture
industry which was held in Bangalore from 12th to 16th February 2003.
Organized by Pradeep Deviah & Associates, having a proven track
record of over a decade in organizing Events & expositions.
IIFF was organized with the objective of providing a platform
to display products to buyers within the industry i.e, distributors,
architects and builders, and to the end user. The event was the second
edition, the first one having been held in February-2002, the fair
provided a dedicated trade channel for the furniture industry in India.
The products on display showcased both traditional, modern and fusion
styles- both in terms of production methods as well as materials used.
Items of Mass production, handcrafted styles and designer applications
all shared the limelight, each presenting its own unique set of attributes,
with the ultimate focus on delivering quality to the customer.
IIFF provided a quality platform for the furniture
industry in India where 27 exhibitors from India and abroad, exhibited
a variety of products and services, representing the entire spectrum
of the furniture industry from home to office applications. Furniture
sourced from Italy and India was showcased in a truly international
presentation.
The fair was a grand success, evoking trade interest from all regions
of India, as well as from international visitors/ buyers & manufacturers
evaluating the Indian market. The fair was also well attended by the
Institutional bulk buyers. The phenomenal turnout of approximately
10,000 visitors serves to endorse the success of IIFF
as the premier furniture trade show for India.
