Copper metals have been used in architecture for thousands of years. Many very early examples still bear witness to copper's longstanding popularity. The bronze doors in our various temples, ample usage of copper and brass in various forts and palaces stand testimony to this fact. In countries outside India as well such as the Aachen Cathedral in Germany date back to about 800 AD, in the Cathedral of Florence in 1423 AD, also used copper alloys. |
