Terraview
is an exciting and innovative simulation
VCD from TERI. TERI with an initiative to
develop strategies and solutions for the
efficient and sustainable management of
India's natural resources simultaneously
with sustained economic development over
the next 50 years has undertaken the GREEN
India 2047 (Growth with Resource Enhancement
of Environment and Nature) project. Terraview
an audio - video series of films, is a part
of this project and focuses on a range of
environmental issues bound together by a
common message that people's initiative
and participation can only overcome environmental
problems.

2.
Community Adoption Monitoring Programme
in Schools (CAMPS)
|
|
CAMPS
was a unique programme that involved in
students and local communities in its national
endeavour for a cleaner and greener environment.
Under this project, 10 localities from Delhi
that needed immidiate attention were identified.
One school from each locality was selected
to partner TERI and corresponding community.
The students of each selected school worked
in close association with TERI's researchers
to monitor and analyse the environment status
of these areas, in terms of air, water quality
and solid waste management.
CAMPS
VCD while tackling the problem of air and
water pollution, and solid waste, is a tribute
to the CAMPS project.
