We at Gayathri and Namith, are a young team of architects and allied professionals based in Bangalore. Backed by about twelve years of professional experience, we have grown into a highly motivated and closely knit team of 25 persons. Our core group consists of Gayathri Shetty and Namithvarma Hegde. They are assisted by six associate partners and a team of architects and engineers. A highly experienced set of consultants in all the allied fields our trainee architects and the non-professional staff form the support team.

THE ESSENCE OF OUR PRACTICE

Gayathri and Namith Associates was founded in 1993 by my partner Namith Varma and myself. It has been just over 7 years since then, and we have had some very interesting commissions come our way - many of them that kept us constantly at the exciting edge of design ideas. Our design ideology has always seen more of a predominance of nature and spatial dynamics in its' multifarious aspects and less of architectonic theorization. This has helped us remain receptive to the multitude of ideas that brew within ourselves and to pick and choose one that suits best to the situation in an objective and unbiased manner.

Our practice has seen through a wide spectrum of commissions ranging from tribal housing to super-specialty hospitals, from clubs and resorts to commercial and residential interiors. This variety has aided us to remain fresh and well-honed thus keeping us prepared for any challenge that comes our way.
