A very diverse set of documentary films on architecture and design starts off the first COLAB film series from 15 April to 11 May. Each set will be premiered on the big screen every Friday evening, starting (Friday) April 15, 2005. The same set may be viewed on a TV monitor thrice- Saturday, Monday and Wednesday at 11.30 am. All films are in English. These films do more than just showcase the work of architects- they probe the underlying angst of the creative process that is often a result of a personal, sometimes radical, view of the world. It is always an engagement based on a serious commitment to the profession. In most cases the architects show how enlightened patronage can effectively translate good, and sometimes revolutionary ideas, into transforming the fabric of a city.
